Toyota introduces Australia to Huski 5-Series with 5SDK9 skid loader

toyota huskiTOYOTA Material Handling has introduced its latest skid loader, the Huski 5SDK9, to Australian shores.

The skid loader is the first machine in the Toyota Huski 5-Series range to be available in the country.

The Huski 5SDK9 has a 730kg lift capacity. It has a longer wheel base, larger engine and greater lift capacity than the top-selling 4SDK8.

Toyota says the skid loader was developed by its engineers in collaboration with experienced plant operators from Brisbane-based P & E Francis Plant Hire. The hire company has purchased 110 Toyota Huski machines in the last 22 years.

P & E Francis Plant Hire says the Huski 5SDK9 incorporates a number of their design suggestions, including a larger-capacity fuel tank and more horsepower, with a larger diesel engine.

The skid steer is fitted with the Toyota 3.5-litre 2Z diesel engine.
