History

 

Now established over a decade, Australian Tyre Traders (ATT) has become a major tyre wholesaler in the Australian marketplace. This exponential growth is due to placing the customer as a centric point in the business relationship. ATT's continuous focus is to exceed the customer's expectations.

 

 

2001 › ESTABLISHMENT
2001

The beginning of ATT

Shane Morrissy and Chris Andrews identify a gap in the market to supply high-quality light truck, truck, agricultural, industrial and off-the-road tyres to tyre dealers across Victoria and NSW. The two business partners created a strategic business plan and approached David Naughton to join the team. Australian Tyre Traders (ATT) was born.

2003

A leader in the marketplace

ATT quickly became a leader in the marketplace, selling high quality tyres at a competitive price. Business-to-Business customers appreciated that ATT only dealt with businesses and not the end consumer therefore not cannabilising market share for valued clients. The ATT philosphy was born: "ATT only trade with tyre dealers, however, continue to help end consumers locate specific tyre sizes for their application and recommend the consumer to an ATT authorised tyre dealer".

2005

Resource Tyres was born

Identifying a gap in the marketplace, Resource Tyres was incorporated to fulfil the gap in providing large mining tyres to mines across Australia. During this time Resource Tyres was managed by Bill Morrissy.

2006

ATT is a growing company

ATT experiences substantial growth and team members increase to 15, predominately located in the Victorian Head Office.

 

2007

Introduction of Harvest Tyres, Halitrax Tyres and Haulmax Tyres

ATT introduce the all-new range of Harvest Tyres (agricultural), Haulmax Tyres* (truck, light truck & industrial) and Halitrax Tyres (OTR).

 

2013

A successful company

ATT has become a national organisation with over 25 staff members including management, sales, marketing, administration, and logistics. Warehouses are located across Australia with state managers building valuable relationships with business-to-business customers.

 

2016

Australian Tyre Traders Celebrates 15th Anniversary

ATT celebrate 15 years in operation with the purchase of a new national head office in Geelong. Company expands to over 40 staff. Dedicated brand managers for Harvest Tyres & Haulmax Tyres are appointed. Australian Tyre Traders attends many country field days across the nation. Brand awareness at an all - time high. 

 

2017

Continued Success

ATT expands its operations with two new warehouses (Tamworth & Wagga Wagga) and moves into new National Head Office in Geelong. Harvest & Haulmax Brands at an all-time high. Brand awareness has never been stronger. Australian Tyre Traders attend a record number of field days with great success. ATT celebrate the launch of cutting edge new products including Harvest Tyres HB Sugar Daddy, Haulmax Tyres HRT range & Halitrax Tyres Blade Runner.
