Qingdao Doublestar Tire Industrial was built in 1996 and is owned by Doublestar Group Co.Ltd. Double Star covers over 1,200,000m2 with 30,000 m2 of building area. Doublestar now employs more than 7,000 people.
The annual output has reached 1.5 million sets of all-steel radial tires, two million setsof heavy-duty bias tires, two million sets of light-duty agricultural tires, and four million sets of inner tubes.
In the period of development, Doublestar is continually improving the internal management and implementing technical creation. It has completely passed the international quality system certificates, including ISO9001, QS9000, DOT & ECE in compliance with American &European automobile industry standard INMETRO of Brazil, GEC of Saudi Arabia.
The domestic markets net covers all over China, and the tires are also exported to 70 countries & area, incl. South-east Asia, Middle east, Central &South America, etc.
In 2003, the company's comprehensive strength has ranked the first five enterprises in Chinese tire industry, and the 30th in the world. The leading brand product has been judged as "Chinese Top-ten nationaltyre brand".
At present, the company has successfully cooperated with the largest agricultural automobile group: Shifeng Group in China. Doublestar is expected to be the largest tire production group in China in the next two or three years.
